Lindsey Broadhead

Community Partnerships Coordinator

My personal journey in land ethics began in early childhood on my grandparents' game bird farm in Kansas, igniting a lifelong love of nature and wildlife. Spending the remainder of my childhood in central Iowa, I explored nearby lakes, prairies, and forested river valleys whenever given the chance. I have since earned a Bachelor's degree in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University and gained experience from various roles in environmental nonprofits such as Wild Bear Nature Center in Nederland, Colorado and the International Crane Foundation here in Baraboo.

As Community Partnerships Coordinator, I aim to foster meaningful connections between the foundation and our generous donors. Through this, I hope to continue the Leopold legacy and advance our mission to help instill a deep appreciation for and dedication to our natural world. Outside of work I enjoy birding, nature photography, kayaking, and volunteering with local ecological restoration projects.
