As the Fellowship Program Coordinator, I serve as the fellowship cohort’s supervisor and point of contact for their fellowship experience, represent the Fellowship Program on behalf of the organization to donors, supporters, etc., and organize all fellowship experiences.
I am a Madison native, born and raised into a family of educators and outdoorsmen. I earned my BS in Education at the University of Wisconsin – Madison, along with three teaching licenses in middle childhood / early adolescences, ESL, and earth science education. I taught science in the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) for three years in both elementary and middle school settings before joining the Leopold community.
My passion in work and life is to foster and build relationships between people and the environment through a geologic lens. I am excited to think about the intersection of geology with land conservation and Aldo Leopold's work, as well as learn more about conservation through the wealth of knowledge the Fellows and other experts bring to the community.
