A Wisconsinite through and through, I have absolutely loved growing up in a place where land and people are intertwined so closely. This moral was instilled in me early on and has been formative in cultivating my passion for nature, environmental communication, and environmental education. Having obtained my B.S. in Environmental Science from Northern Michigan University (Go Cats!) I have been exposed to countless environmental practices and methodologies which I look forward to utilizing at ALF this year! I greatly enjoy understanding the intricate relationships present between us and nature, as Leopold so eloquently wrote about, and I await the days ahead where I can dwell in the places he formed such groundbreaking ideas. To be able to work in such a complex and multifaceted environment is truly a blessing and I am excited to grow and learn during my time with ALF. In my down time I enjoy birding, camping, kayaking, stargazing, reading, and trying new recipes. I also am SCUBA certified and hope to find some crazy diving spots!
