Nature needs YOUR land ethic!
Stay connected through our down-to-earth e-news.
Volunteering with us is a unique opportunity to foster community with nature, learn about Aldo Leopold's legacy, and contribute to meaningful projects that support our mission. Whether you’re an individual or part of a group, your time and talents can help foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of the land.

Join the Stewardship team on Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We will work together to clean up debris from 24 red and white pines that the Leopolds planted in the 1930s and 40s.
Volunteers will chip the trail, clean up debris, plant ninebark, and cut brush. Please wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for outdoor work and weather conditions. You may also bring work gloves, water, insect repellent, and sunscreen as needed. Meet at the Aldo Leopold Center to sign in and shuttle over to the Shack. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete waivers and meet the team.
Volunteers must sign up below by Friday, July 17. This opportunity is available to both individuals and groups. There will be an optional Shack tour afterwards from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Attendance cap is 100 people.
