Your support is vital to the continued success and impact of the Aldo Leopold Foundation. We are deeply grateful for each contribution, as it allows us to advance our mission and vision to foster a Land Ethic® through the legacy of Aldo Leopold. Can you make a small donation today to help us get a new UTV, so we can continue to safely, reliably, and efficiently steward this historic landscape?
We need your help! This old girl has put in some hours (over 7,000, in fact!) helping our stewardship crew in the field, and now it's time for a replacement.
An extra safety upgrade we're planning for our new ride is a set of special airless wheels ("tweels") that eliminate flat tires and low tire pressure. These can pose serious risks, especially during prescribed burns, where we rely on the Kubota to haul water and other equipment to keep the fire safely under control.
